Marsilias wreign

   Depending on which of you wonderful people read my descriptions, you may realize that this is the result my efforts to finish a drawing in two days or less. Obviously it's just a line art without shading, but who needs shading, and practicing line-art is half the reason I want to do these. Anyway, I managed it though it still took longer that I would have liked (down to the wire and all that jazz), so I'll probably continue and see if I can make a bit of a series with it. Most often these picture will deal with WATCHER requests and bits of lore for Slade's world.

Now for the subject of the picture itself. He's a man called Marsilias Wreign and he has the dubious task of participating in our next book ( my brother's and mine) as the second main character, a sidekick with the tendency to bribe the MC with various deserts. As for a quick write up to bore yourselves to death with, here you go.

  Despite looking like a man in his early forties, Marsilias Wreign is far older than he appears thanks to the advanced technology of his world; old enough to have fought in the last two great wars, earn several commendations, and then retire to a university. There he rapidly secured tenure through teaching most of the available subjects, including psychology, history, economics and advanced tactics. While teaching he befriended the child-prodigy Jade Diez, thus starting the platonic relationship that carries them though the book, though the actaul story takes place a couple ears later.
